“Urgent Update: Catherine Camilon, Miss Grand PH Contender from Batangas, Officially Declared Missing”

Catherine Camilon, the representative of Batangas in Miss Grand Philippines, has been officially declared missing, more than five days after her sister reported her disappearance on social media.

On October 18, Police Colonel Samson Belmonte, Director of the Batangas Police Provincial Office, issued an order for “intensified efforts” to locate Catherine Camilon.

A picture of Catherine was included in the provincial police’s Facebook post, along with a press statement regarding her disappearance. According to the statement, Ms. Camilon left her home on October 12, 2023, driving a Nissan Juke with the plate number NEI 2990. Her mother had a conversation with her at a gas station in Bauan, Batangas, but received no further updates from her, which was considered unusual.

The Batangas Police Province is collaborating with the Tuy Municipal Police Station to search for any trace or information regarding Catherine Camilon’s whereabouts. Anyone with reliable information is urged to report to the Tuy Municipal Police Station via their Station Hotline at 0998-598-5711.
