Military officials: an inquiry is ongoing after an 18-year-old Marine recruit passes away at Parris Island.
At the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, Pvt. Marshall Hartman lost his life on Monday, June 12.
The cause of death was an unrelated occurrence. A death’s cause is currently being looked into.
On Training Day 6, Hartman was undergoing recruit training with Delta Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, when the incident occurred.
