Sandra Zaiter, host of a children’s television show and a singer, passed away at the age of 79. Zaiter, a professional diver and swimmer, nearly drowned in the 1970s when she misjudged the depth of the water while diving at a beach in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. She hit her head on a rock.
In 2019, Zaiter was involved in a car accident that did not end in fatalities. Her condition in the hospital was stable but died later after she was released.
